After 14 days of walking together, everyone realized that life would be different for ever. The group completed a pilgrimage of 200km (124 miles). The limitations on their sight meant they had to let go of the idea of having control over their life during the expedition. Getting through the journey meant trusting a buddy to walk with and accepting help to find their way around. Read more about this project.

Connect Conference is an international event for everyone who is about to finish high school. Students will gather for a week of connections, inspirations, action, cultural exchange and celebration. They encourage youngsters to 'be the change they wish to see in the world'. Since 2015 I have participated as a co-creator. In April 2019 the last Connect Conference was held in Zeist, the Netherlands. Read more about Connect Conference. 

Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY) is an award-winning nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle of violence, crime, and incarceration of teens. FLY’s unique and powerful combination of programs – legal education, leadership training, and one-on-one mentoring – helps youth get off probation, engaged in school, and back on track with their lives. In August 2018 Voyage Beyond took a group on a  pilgrimage of 200 kilometers to Santiago de Compostela in Spain.  Read more about FLY.
